The ICs Club from The Nimble Needle-Atlanta

Have you seen The ICs?

The ICs are a new needlepoint Ornament Club exclusive to The Nimble Needle-Atlanta; canvases from Labors of Love.

Sign ups are going on now. You can call The Nimble Needle-Atlanta: their phone is (404) 843-8687 or email them: atlantanimbleneedle@gmail.com.

Each Kit includes 2-sided canvases on 18 mesh, stitch guides, kitted threads, beads, Swarovski crystals and all accessories. There are six canvases in the series.

The ICs will be mailed out every other month (bi-monthly) beginning August 2014. I love getting a package in the mail!

There is a frontside and a backside of each Snow person. So clever. Not boring at all to stitch.

The ICs are intended to be finished (as seen in the photos) with clip-on attachments.

I had the opportunity to photograph The ICs and create their magazine ad seen in the current Needlepoint Now. All I can say I am smitten with the composition of stitches and embellishments.

Autumn Blossoms (LL 532) is finished

Hi Everybody... Robin here.

Remember we just spoke about the PFOS event... and all the many canvases...

Patricia Sone, extraordinary stitcher/teacher at Creative Stitches, Dallas TX, was in the class. Her selected canvas was "Autumn Blossoms" by Labors of Love (LL 532).

I really enjoyed working on the stitch guide and pulling the threads. I was smitten with her outfit.

Vineyard Silk Top Jacket... yummy warm.

I had an idea about the Top Jacket, and had an idea about the Green Dress, but really studied the Vest to make it special.

Inspiration was found in one of my Brenda Hart book. (If you don't have each of her books you are really missing something!) I took her stitch (one of the Kennan Variations) and then morphed it into the stitch of my needs.

Patricia is a very fast stitcher; during the class she made strides of coverage. Each flower treatment was discussed. It was fun watching this canvas come to life.

New Pumpkin Club at The Nimble Needle-Atlanta

It is the Pumpkin Club by Labors of Love featuring the Small, Medium, and Large Pumpkins; stitched by Stacy Brown (owner of The Nimble Needle-Atlanta).

Stacy has offered many clubs through out the years. You can see them on here website by clicking on Previous Monthly Clubs as well as their Current Monthly Clubs.

The Pumpkin Club is delivered bi-Monthly: April, June, and August 2013. The Small Pumpkin is going out now; the Medium Pumpkin is going out in June, and the Large Pumpkin is going out in August.

As a Pumpkin Club member you get the Canvas, Stitch Guide, Threads and Embellishments. Here are the details. Tax/shipping charges applied.

Now, let's talk about the Stitch Guide. Stacy asked me if I would do the charting from her diagrams. How quick do you think I said yes? Of course, I would LOVE to do the charts. Stacy's research of stitches, usage of threads, and surprise elements along the way made for a fun stitch guide. I learned so many new stitches from her. Stacy Brown is quite the creative lady.

Today was Sunday -- the second day of Market. Here are some of the new canvases which caught my eye.
