First, some definitions: what is a Custom Stitch Guide and what is a Commercial Stitch Guide?
A Custom Stitch Guide is one selected by the customer. In most cases, I have not personally stitched it. I do select stitches based on previous stitching experience as well as inspiration from other needlepoint. The threads are selected and the stitches are charted. Often there is a drawing or computer rendering... now what's that saying?... a picture is worth a 1000 words? Very true. It takes HOURS, days and even weeks to complete a Custom Stitch Guide. These guides are commissioned at an hourly rate.
A Commercial Stitch Guide is one that I have stitched and is represented by the designer. In most cases these commercial stitch guides are available from the designer, and are included in the price of the canvas. In other cases, these commercial stitch guides are sold separately; either from the designer or myself.
