Happy Mother's Day

Hi Everybody... Robin here...

Happy Mother's Day to all.

A few weeks ago I was able to visit my Mom in Lexington, KY.  It was a lovely (albeit short) visit with Mom, my two sisters, two brother-in-laws, and 3 cats.

It's not polite to mention a lady's age so let's just say next week she will be four score and three. She still has a lot of get-up-and-go.

Mom's artistic passion is oil painting. She continues to take lessons twice a week at a wonderful artist's studio.

Here are some of the pieces she has done over the years.

I took this photo of the Iris flower...
... and Mom painted this Iris flower for me.

Happy Mother's Day, Mom. We are very proud of you. I'm glad you're my Mom.

Hugs, Robin

  2. WOW! I am IMPRESSED. Your mom is wildly talented, isn't she? I now understand your eye for texture and color was inherited from your mother. You are one lucky lady to have such talent in your family.
