Hi Everybody... Robin here.
I am almost ready to go to Columbus. Next on my list is to pack the suitcase and the needlepoint. After all, it is a Needlepoint convention, right? But first, I wanted to show you what I made yesterday.
I made a Creepy Characters apron! I am going to wear it when I stand with my NeedleDeeva Creepy Characters display during the Needlepoint Showcase on Friday evening. It's all about getting noticed... getting one's attention. Hopefully, the display (decorated Halloween tree), the signage and the Apron will get Needlepoint Shop owners' interest to sign up for the Creepy Characters Club.
I used the same graphics I created for the Creepy Characters Stitch Guides cover sheets, and printed the design onto the iron-on transfer paper. Be sure to Flip Horizontal or else your design will be backwards.
I am quite pleased with the outcome. I'm bringing the perfect Halloween earrings, too. I'll be posting from Market. Jill will, too. This should be fun. Wish me luck! Thanks, Robin
That apron is wonderful, Robin; and the earrings... You will be the bell of the ball! I am sure that shopowners will flock to Needle Deeva to get everything needed for this spook-tacular club! Have fun in Columbus. We will all look forward to your posts.

ReplyDeletetoo cute... I bet people will want to purchase the apron, too. It could be a new opportunity for the crafty one that you are. I see a future in needlepoint aprons. It is just perfectly darling. I will think of you when I go on my buying trip to the Needlepoint Inc showroom. Headed to San Francisco in the AM. Y'all have fun! -Marlene (not the finisher) but the one from Memphis.
