We still call him Bailey but yesterday he was a little "Houdini." Bailey wiggled his Left Leg out of the cast! We immediately took him to see our regular vet. The cast was removed and Dr. Montgomery examined him. Bailey stood on all 4 legs, evenly... without any pain. It was decided to keep the cast off, and to monitor Bailey's activities by keeping him in the large carrier 24/7. He is now a happy camper. He has supervised outings but no climbing, or jumping. We are in his shadow for sure.

He's a little "Houdini"
Hi Everybody... Robin here.
We are in his shadow for sure.
I promise I will not monopolize the Needlepoint Study Hall blog with kitten antics. All of your wonderful comments touched our heart. I just wanted to share our good news with you.
On the stitching side of my world, I did finish the Bird and began working on the Worm. Cute canvas, indeed. Thanks, Robin

I am very glad Bailey Houdini is better, even if he still is in a cage. Beware! He'll figure out how to open the door next!
ReplyDeleteThe worm and bird have me intrigued. Can't wait to see it all when it is ready!
Robin
ReplyDeleteYour "Houdini" is priceless. He just wants to be included in everything and explore. That face is just priceless. Glad he is okay and hope you all survive his growing up. LOL
Animals and kids, you gotta love'um

Can I come over and play with him? He is sooooo cute.
ReplyDeletePeggy....
ReplyDeleteWould you please clarify the 'ply' of Baroque Silk.
When one removes the thread from the skein it comes off in a group of three 'clusters' of threads.
When the stitch guide for the cape says...Baroque Silk...2 strands...what does Amy mean? Two strands of these three OR two strands from one of the sections?
I have sturggled with this question since we were first introduced to the thread, and suddenly the 'penny dropped'...ASK PEGGY for the answer.
Robin...you new baby is ADORABLE!!!
We loved our feline for 15 years. Your little one tugs at my heartstrings!
Susan
Hi Susan,
ReplyDeleteBaroque Silk has three ply. You will use two strands of the three that it easily breaks down into. Good Question. I am using some at the moment to stitch the cat.
And Yes, Robin's new cat is adorable. I can't stop looking at the picture with the cast on. How in the world did that little thing get out of the cast. And in the next picture his expression is ..."What?!"
